In Barcelona, the last event for Team RamonaRX, driver Ramona Karlsson was compelled to retire from the competition under the advice of the medical team. Even though she is recuperating as expected, she will be unable to compete in the ItalyRX event this coming weekend following the on-going advice of her medical team. The Italian round is the last in the EuroRX series.
Although hugely disappointed not to be able to race, Ramona understands it is prudent to heed her Doctor’s direction. “I’m so grateful for all support fans and sponsors have given me and my team during the season. I’m very sorry that I have retire for the last competition of the series – however I will now focus on recover and that me and my team will return even stronger for next season” Ramona says positively.
