Former Swedish rallystar, Ramona Karlsson, confirms her start in the FIA European Rallycross Championship. Karlsson will be the world’s first female driver to run her own Supercar team, Ramona RX.
After tirelessly working on budgetory requirements and the formation of a new team, Ramona now confirms that she will be participating in the 2015 FIA European Rallycross Championship with her own team: Ramona RX.
”It feels so great to finally announce this and to do it together with my own team. I’ve put in a lot of hard work to secure various sponsorships, to gather and incorporate experienced and professional people into the team and I’m very happy to see it become a success” says Ramona. Right now, Ingvar Gunnarsson Motorsport are making the final updates to Ramona’s VW Scirocco Supercar and the team is working diligently in preparation of their debut in Belgium on May 15.
