Shakedown is finished, and Ramona Karlsson and Miriam Walfridsson landed in third place a tenth of a second behind Gorban (Ukraine) while Kikireshko (Ukraine) had the best time in PWRC.
– Even if the competition isn’t determined on shakedown, it’s positive when everything works right from the beginning. Our mechanics have done a magnificent job, and we feel that the car is really well suited for the New Zealand roads. It was incredibly fun and very satisfying to take place in a car that feels that good, Ramona and Miriam says.
Early tomorrow morning in New Zealand (GMT +12) the rally starts, and it’s going to be a long day. More than 200 kilometers (12,5 miles) of special stages awaits the contestants.
The ladies are ready.
