Despite being absent from the WorldRX contestants’ line up this season, Ramona is being kept very busy. Her last assignment was for SEAB and STP during the Elmia Fair. “It was really successful. Nearly 89,000 people visited the fair, which is an increase of over 12,000 from the previous year. Many visitors came to the stand and wanted to talk all about motorsport, which was great fun,” said Ramona, who showed off her VW Scirocco Supercar in STP’s booth.
Shortly before that Ramona did a tour together with her sponsor Swedol, who arranged its internal fair ‘Swedol Grand Prix’ for their suppliers and customers in Malmö, Jönköping, Örebro and Stockholm. Ramona challenged the visitors in the rallycross game Dirt 3, where they had to compete against her at the Höljes circuit. “Swedol Grand Prix was an auspicious launch last year, so naturally they arranged it again this year. Great fun!”
Ramona, who now is heavily pregnant, is still feeling well and plans to work until the baby arrives. In the upcoming weeks, Ramona will continue lecturing along with focusing on her duties as Director of Marketing Manager for FIA World Rallycross Championships in Höljes. “I’m really enjoying my new role. This year’s Höljes will be the best ever with new stars on the starting line, such as Ken Block and Sebastian Loeb” Ramona says.
